A water use permit is an administrative document that expresses the terms and conditions under which the government allows the use of water resources over a given period. This type of permit is of social interest and aims to guarantee the quantitative and qualitative control of water usage and to discipline the right of access to water. Depending on the characteristics of an enterprise, this may require a water use permit or registry stating insignificant use of water. In addition to water use permits and registry of insignificant use of water, there is also prior consent for drilling wells.
