Lecture on modeling dam failure in estuarine systems – CBO-2016

Between November 5 and 9, 2016, engineer DSc. Taoan Silva Franklin, a specialist in coastal environmental engineering at Oceanauta, presented a research paper on the hydrodynamic modeling of a hypothetical rupture of the Pedra do Cavalo Dam in the estuary of the Paraguaçu River – BA. This presentation was part of the thematic section of ST4 – Physical Oceanography: Coastal Zone and Estuaries, in the Brazilian Congress of Oceanography, which was held in the city of Salvador-Bahia.
